Preparing a Chocolate Fountain?

I recently got a chocolate fountain and want to use it over the weekend. I know that if your using regular chocolate (rather than chocolate specifically for Chocolate Fountains) your supposed to add oil to thin the chocolate out, but i really don’t like the idea of adding oil to the chocolate, is it possible to use anything else to thin it out, e.g. single cream or cocoa butter (for cooking)?

If i were you i would either add a bit of milk or some cream. This will also make the chocolate lovely and creamy! Perfect for a chocolate fountain!
