Wedding Chocolate Fountains

Is it cheaper to rent an Chocolate Fondue Fountain rather than buy one for my wedding?

I was telling my Aunt who is a baker about me wanting a Chocolate Fountain for my wedding and she said it’s way cheaper to rent one. Is this true??
Btw…no I don’t really plan on using it again… I mean…my brothers wedding IS coming up in April and we usually have alot of get togethers in the family so I suppose if it doesn’t cost too much it would be a good investment but around how much is the average cost to rent one?? What about to buy one??

Renting is so much easier because typically they will have someone who can operate it for you or, at least, they will show you how it works. The kind you rent are probably of a much higher quality too.
